One of us had crab bisque and he reported that it smelled very fishy. Also, the burger had not been seasoned at all. When I cut it in half, it was blood red on the inside. The soup itself was ok, but lacked the flavor I’m used to.
The bowl was far from full and there was no carmelization, no crispy cheese and the crouton was falling apart as though it had been sitting. The food was disappointing for each of us. We all had a couple drinks but it took the entire visit for the bar to churn out two rounds of drinks.
Then, despite having a reservation, we were stuck in a corner, in a back room that was cold and harsh.īar service was ridiculously slow. First, the greeting by the hostess when we checked in was quite cold, nothing to say they were happy to see. Saturday night my wife, me, and another couple had dinner at the Reserve. Have been here before and it was excellent, but not now.
